Three directions for Radical Church

Each system supports the same visitor strategy, but changes color emphasis, proof rhythm, motion tone, and homepage composition.

radical-red

Radical Red Refresh

Best-fit recommendation. Keeps the current red brand, bold headings, white space, and direct Plan My Visit path while cleaning up section flow.

Use case: Best when Radical wants the safest path: recognizable current-site feel with better organization.

Tradeoff: Least surprising direction; improvement comes from clarity and layout, not a big visual reset.

Preview examples

Contrast: Red remains the primary action color; black text on white and pale gray sections carry most reading.

Typography: Large, familiar bold headings with straightforward body copy.

Spacing: Close to the current page rhythm, with cleaner gaps between Location, First Time, ministries, pastor, and FAQ.

Motion: Subtle fade and lift only; no dramatic stage movement.

Welcome Home hero

Original headline, existing worship media, and Plan My Visit CTA.

Location & Times block

Current service details made easier to scan.

Ministry cards

Rad Kids, Rad YTH, and Rad Groups with original copy and photos.

Pastor and FAQ sections

Current reassurance content with cleaner reading rhythm.

Token notes

Radius: 8px cards and buttons, with only minor softening around photo sections.. Shadow: Light card elevation for familiar, comfortable section grouping.. Interaction tone: Clear Plan My Visit buttons, simple section anchors, and obvious external links.

family-welcome

Warm Family Welcome

A softer version of the current brand that still uses Radical red for action, with warmer supporting colors for families and first-time guests.

Use case: Good when stakeholders want the homepage to feel a little warmer without losing Radical identity.

Tradeoff: Softer than the current red-first page, but still clearly Radical.

Preview examples

Contrast: Red CTAs stay prominent while warm neutrals and green support content-heavy sections.

Typography: Same bold homepage feel, slightly calmer sizing for longer pastor and FAQ copy.

Spacing: A little more open than the current site, especially around family ministry and First Time content.

Motion: Gentle fades and simple hover states.

First Time section

Original welcome copy with clearer guest reassurance.

Family ministry row

Rad Kids and Rad YTH stay close to the main visit path.

Pastor welcome

Original pastor copy remains a central trust moment.

Simple FAQ

Current practical questions stay visible without feeling heavy.

Token notes

Radius: 8px cards with soft image corners; still practical and familiar.. Shadow: Low, warm elevation so photo and copy blocks feel welcoming.. Interaction tone: Visitor-friendly buttons for Plan My Visit, Rad Kids, Rad YTH, and Rad Groups.

altar-bold

Worship Warmth

A slightly more expressive version that uses worship photography and red accents, but keeps the same homepage copy and section order.

Use case: Good when Radical wants a little more worship energy without overwhelming stakeholders.

Tradeoff: More visual than the safest refresh, but still uses current copy/media.

Preview examples

Contrast: Red action states sit on light surfaces; deeper ink is used sparingly for worship/message sections.

Typography: Strong headings, but scaled back from campaign-style type.

Spacing: Photo-led sections with normal homepage spacing and practical visit details kept visible.

Motion: Small image fades and CTA lift; no cinematic staging.
